The video work „checkmark/s“ is video/sound collage about the in-between travel state while longing to arrive. Sounds and videos of personal archive are used to reconstruct the sense of distance while feeling so close through emotional connections seen through fragmental texts of sent messages and symbols. The checkmarks as marks of reached messages are a new contemporary symbol of reached emotions and thoughts. Functioning as a control mark of meanings delivered. – of something to rely on in a constant distance.
